Month of Gratitude

Have you ever heard of a one month gratitude challenge or a 30 day gratitude challenge? It is fairly easy to do and without a doubt this is soemthing that will change your life. Here is how to do it.

Using a journal, Twitter, or Facebook just write down three things that you are grateful for today. Do this every day and in a month you will have been grateful for almost 100 things.

The power of Gratitude Challenge

The real power of the gratitude challenge is to force you everyday to look at the good in your life and the good in the world. With 24 hour news and the pressure for TV and papers and the internet to seel more space you will hear more and more shocking and terrible things. A gratitude challenge will make you look beyond those things and bring everything back to the greatness in your life.

Why The Gratitude Challenge will make you better

Building on the statement above, the Gratitude challenge will make you a better person becasue you will stop seeing the world as a place where giving something up means you are losing soemthing. Instead you will see that you need to give to get. As you give of yourself you will have wonderful things come into your life in the form of people and situations that will make your life better.

What can I be Grateful For?

You can be grateful for many things. You can be grateful for your family, the weather, the people around you, your job, your spouse, your smiling paperboy or mailman, the warmth (or cold) outside, you get the idea, there are lots of things everywhere to be greatful for if you just look.

How do I start and stop this Gratitude Challenge?

You can start right now. Just get a piece of paper and a pen write down the day from today to the end of the month and under each day put the numbers 1,2,3 and write down what you are grateful for today. This gratitude challenge will be kind of tough the next two days and then it will get a life of it's own as you start to see things everywhere that you are grateful for.

So start your own gratitude challenge today and whether you are doing it on facebook, twitter, or at home privately you can comment below to let us all know how it is working out for you.
